Russia's aggression against Ukraine has destroyed the existing safety architecture in Europe. Poland, due to its direct border with Ukraine and the political, military and humanitarian assistance provided to it, has become a de facto front-line state. The situation causes the question to be asked: what is the condition of the services liable for national safety at the minute and do the tasks, structure and organization posed to them correspond to reality? This is peculiarly actual of intelligence and counterintelligence, referred to as peculiar services. There are inactive no laws on operational and reconnaissance activities, the national counterintelligence community, which should make a national counterintelligence strategy, or laws on abroad principals financing entities conducting activities and shaping attitudes in the public sphere.
