Debate on tv Republic. Stanowski with a controversial idea

“We request a sovereign and ambitious economy. Meanwhile, in this run we see cucumbers and eating sausage. It's insulting that politicians show that we can't build a CPK, but we can compression cucumbers.

In the following part of the seemingly humorous statement, he presented the thought of supporting agriculture, which was besides to be mocked by the political correctness: “If you want my economical program, due to the fact that you are surely very curious (this — ed.) agriculture — 500 PLN for all pig and 500 PLN for all individual who identifies as a pig”.

Meritory loses to performance?

Stanowski's speech can be seen as an expression of the progressive show business character of the presidential campaign. On the 1 hand, the message can be taken as a mockery of LGBTQ+ people and trivialise the debate on identity and equality.

On the another hand, it can be considered a satire for the absurdity of political correctness and an alleged excess of social programs. In fact, however, it does not make any sense.

Tecture alternatively of Trzaskovsky

The debate began a fewer minutes after 8:00. Leading Katarzyna Gójska announced the event as exceptional: "This is the first studio debate in this campaign". The erstwhile 2 candidates' meetings took place in Koński and were more like rallies — 1 organised by tv Republic, the another by Rafał Trzaskowski's staff, in cooperation with TVP, TVN and Polsat.

Already at the presentation stage, there was confusion. Marek Jakubiak approached an empty position prepared for Rafał Trzaskowski and unveiled a curtain covering his cardboard image. There was besides a gag from the room: “Mr. Jakubiak brought his fetish”, which caused laughter among any participants.
Not long after that, Marek Jakubiak struck the absent president of Warsaw, saying to Janusz Braun: “I like twarzaskowski in the cardboard state of Tuska. It is an insult to many millions of Poles that he is not here. I'm going to take him distant so you don't gotta look at him.”
