The Patriotic Environment of Northern Poland, which is an association of patriotic, national, Catholic communities, sent to Archbishop Józef Górzyński, Archbishop Tadeusz Wojda, Bishop Jack Jezierski and Bishop Richard Kasyna a letter which is simply a reaction to the Vatican's declaration of "Fiducia supplicans". Excellency, Reverend Bishop,
as a coalition of organizations with a patriotic, national and Christian profile, operating within the Patriotic Environment of Northern Poland in the territory of the Diocese of Gdańsk, Elbląska, Warmińska and Pelplinska, we ask the Bishop to respond to the alleged "blessing" of homosexual unions.
On 18 December 2023, the Vatican published a declaration by Fiducia Supplicans, which, contrary to earlier papers of the Church and the full Tradition, allows for the "blessing" of homosexual or alleged "irregular" unions.
Already the next morning, under Fiducia Supplicans the first homosexual union was "blessed". This was done by the associate of Pope Francis Fr. James Martin SJ, who held the position of advisor in the Discastery for the Communication of the Holy See, who among Polish Catholics was celebrated for his desecration of the image of Our woman of Czestochowa.
