SAMPLING
In connection with the article "Remember Turowski", published on 9.11.2023 on the Solidarni2010.pl website, here is simply a correction of the incorrect and inaccurate information contained in this article concerning Mr Tomasz Turowski:
1/ it is not actual that Mr. Tomasz Turowski acted as a "monger in a Jesuit habit" - Mr. Tomasz Turowski never wore a habit;
2/ it is not actual that Mr Tomasz Turowski "was employed in the Slavic assistant of the Jesuits" - this fact can be easy checked in the catalogues of the Society of Jesus of those years;
3/ at least it is inaccurate to say that Mr. Tomasz Turowski "has given unsuspected information about the Communist safety services about the metastatic channels of spiritual literature to the russian republics, has denounced the emissaries of the Church and the citizens of the USSR, who assisted the apostolic activity" - Mr. Tomasz Turowski has never provided the communist safety services of the Polish People's Republic with any reliable information that would endanger persons operating in the USSR or sent there with missions;
4/ It is not actual that Mr Tomasz Turowski “has given the Polish People's Republic the manuscripts of the Holy Father's sermons yet to be preached, the accounts of John Paul II's talks with John Carter or with French president Valery Giscard d'Estaing, among others, gave a sketch of the speech,
which John Paul II intended to give in the UNESCO forum" - manuscripts of the above texts were never made available to Mr Tomasz Turowski in any form;
5/ it is not actual that Mr Tomasz Turowski “did not only carry out the agential activity himself, but besides recruited his co-workers. 1 of them was Father Stanislaw Szłowiec, who gave the peerless services a transcript of the conversation between John Paul II and Mikhail Gorbachev" - Mr Tomasz Turowski did not recruit co-workers, this was not part of his duties, due to the fact that he worked as an officer obtaining secret information (so-called, "non-legile") and the intelligence service never combined these 2 separate functions;
6/ it is not actual that Mr Tomasz "Turowski, although he had no priestly ordination, sat in confessionals, became a trusted trustee of the wives working in Italy diplomats" - this fact never happened;
7 / it is not actual that Mr Tomasz Turowski "was in Rome on 13 May 1981, on the day of the assassination of John Paul II" - on the day of the assassination of John Paul II_pan Tomasz Turowski was at the Centre for Theological Studies Centre Sevres in Paris, where he studied and lived;
8/ It is incorrect to say that Mr Tomasz Turowski "In February 2010 he was hired by Minister Radosław Sikorski in the Ministry of abroad Affairs and directed as titular minister to the institution in Moscow" - in fact Mr Tomasz Turowski held the position of ambassador there
titular alternatively than titular minister;
9/ it is not actual that Mr Tomasz Turowski "made a false mirror message which led to the deconspiration of his long-term activities as an agent" - in fact, by a ruling of 27 February 2012, the signature of Act II AKa 19/12, The Court of Appeal in Warsaw found the mirroring message made by Mr Tomasz Turowski to be true. The cassation of the IPN prosecutor was dismissed by the ultimate Court by a resolution of 20 March 2013, ref. Act II KK 230/12.
