Sprint for bobsleigh

Today, at the arenas of the XXV Winter Olympics, the bobsled twos competed. At the stake of 25 crews, the Polish duo from the Military athletics Club of Gdynia Fleet competed: pilot – Linda Weisszewski and spreading – St. After the first 2 slides, the Polish women occupy 22nd place. The best time in the half-time was obtained by the German: Laura Nolte and Deborah Levi.

After the first slide on the top of the classification, the American crew, whose pilot is Kaillie Armbruster Humphreys, and the spreading Jasmine Jones. American women gained 56.92 p. Slower than them by 0.05 s erstwhile German Laura Nolte and Deborah Levi. The 3rd place was taken by the second of the German crews, Lisa Buckwitz – Neele Schuten. The 3rd duo lost to the American pair 0.13 s. The 4th position ranked the 3rd squad from Germany and the 5th and sixth bobsleighs piloted by United States representatives. Polish duo from WKS Gdynia Fleet occupied 15th place. White-Red had a failure of 0.82 s to the leaders. Polki only led by 0.02 s with the best of the 2 host crews.

Unfortunately, in the second slide of Polki they achieved a worse score than in the first. They were given a time of 58.36 p. White-Red competed as the 11th and behind them crews that were better than them in the first slide. After their journey, Polish representatives occupied the eighth position with a full time of 1 min 56.10 s and lost to then leading bobsleists from South Korea 0.31 p. After passing 14 further crews duet Weisszewski – Adamek fell to 22nd place. On the another hand, in the medal positions there were rifts. The first place from the second was promoted by the German crew Nolte – Levi. On the another hand, the second of our western neighbours duets jumped on the second of the third. Buckwitz and Schuten lose 0.18 pp to their teammates. In turn, the 3rd place fell leading after the first slide of Americans who lose to Nolte and Levi by 0.23 pp. The failure of Poles to the leaders is 2.17 p.
