Adam Sz Trapka, a spokesperson for the government, in “The Piasecki Talk” in TVN24 estimated that the night events were not only a military test but besides a political test. In his opinion, Russia and Belarus wanted to see how the Polish authorities would respond and whether political unrest would erupt in the country.
