General Tadeusz Jordan-Zawadowski was 1 of the co-creators of Polish independency and the most crucial commander from 1918 to 1921. His character, forgotten and erased from public space by sanatorium censorship and later communist censorship, was restored to public consciousness thanks to the work of Prof. Patelski.

Dr. Mariusz Patelski, Prof. UO – historian, postgraduate of WSP in Opole (1991). Since 1993, an worker of the Institute of past of the University of Opole. He conducts investigation in the field of military past of the 19th and 20th centuries, biographies, anti-communist opposition in the Polish People's Republic and youth movements on Polish lands in the 19th and 20th centuries. Author of, among others, books: Independent Student Association in Opole 1980–1990, June 1976 protests in Opole Voivodeship, Vigilant guards of folk democracy. The censorship office in the Opole Voivodeship 1950–1990, as well as the editor of the memoirs of General Tadeusz Rozwadowski entitled Memories of the large War.
