There is no another way than Christ! Beautiful gathering of the White Raven in Kraków
On 14 September another patriotic gathering organized by the White Raven publishing home was held in the Sanctuary of St. John Paul II (White Seas) under the motto: “Without God only fear”. Excellent speakers, large lectures, crowds of listeners, spiritual depth and long queues for autographs – it was a real celebration of Polish culture and identity.

The gathering organised on the occasion of the premiere of the latest books of the White Raven and to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the birth of Pope Leon XIV and the 78th anniversary of the birth of Blessed Jerzy Popiełuszko opened the curator of the Sanctuary of John Paul II, Fr Tomasz Szopa. He led the prayer in the intention of late Ewa Barańska-Jazrodzak – an outstanding artist, author and friend of the White Crow. Then Jakub Maciejewski, the leader of the meeting, invited Jan Kowalczyk and Ziemowit Pawlisz, to the bard stage, who inspired “Rota”.
Prof. Janusz Królikowski was the first to speak, who explained what the “Holy Year” is, that is, the large Jubilees of the Roman-Catholic Church. The Jubilee roots date back to the beginning of the Testament, but only in the 14th century did they get a powerful and Catholic dimension. Fr Prof. Królikowski reminded the gathered that present it is essential to look at the Jubilee through the prism of the holiness of Christ, which is frequently distorted and falsified by pseudotheological statements of any theologians today
Another of the excellent guests, Fr Prof. Robert Skrzypczak, was asked to mention to the subject "The planet without God is simply a planet without value". At first he summarized 101 days of service of Peter Leon XIV and admitted that this is simply a unique pontificate, among others, due to the fact that many publicists commenting on these 101 days with surprise states that the Pope speaks of .... Christ. Chrystocentrism is the basis of Leon XIV's pontificate. “Christ is the only consequence to modern crises, to the pain of the existence of many people. If you don't meet Christ, you won't find any answers. Without Christ there is no azimuth, there is no future," said Fr Prof. Skrzypczak, stressing that this is the fact that Pope Leon XIV constantly repeats. “There are no different ways to salvation—there is only one: through Christ Jesus.”
Prof. Wojciech Polak referred to the large character of the first king of Poland - Bolesław Chrobry. The author said that "Poland has become a super power behind Bolesław Chrobry", but not only a specified power, as we learn in past lessons (although for the current governments, less and less students are aware of it). It became a kingdom that mattered throughout Europe. This was due to the extraordinary talent of Bolesław Chrobry, who, as Prof. Polak recalled, was able to cooperate constructively with the German emperor Otto III, which allowed to make the Polish Kingdom a mentioned super-potent. Prof. Polak spoke, among others, of the extraordinary talent of Chrobry in areas as demanding as political strategy and diplomacy, as well as his extraordinary function in promoting Catholic faith. It is thanks to our first king present that we can live in Catholic Poland!
An interesting lecture in the form of memoirs was presented by another talker by Father Piotr Lamprecht OSA, an Augustian who held a novitiate in the US and met Pope Leon XIV today.
Prof. Piotr Mazurkiewicz, next from invited guests, author of the book “Golden Body and False Prophets. The state as a tool for combating God”, with an extraordinary erudition presented to the audience the main assumptions of liberalism – ideology fighting Catholicism. An example of the 19th – eternal conflict for education, which was then owned by the ideology of liberalism, was peculiarly crucial in this regard. The talker stressed the uncomfortable or deliberately overlooked fact of the ideology of liberalism, which is hostile to only 1 religion: Christianity, especially Catholicism. These are highly crucial observations, especially in today's context of the fight against education by the Polish government.
Last night, ed. Joanna Sosnowska reminded us of a wonderful one, due to the fact that that is the way to the holiness of our Grand Martyr, Blessed George Popieluszko. Author of a beautiful book on priest Jerzy entitled “The Martyr for religion and Solidarity. The biography illustrated by Blessed Jerzy Popiełuszko reminded any extraordinary event in the life of Fr Jerzy, which, in the context of today's ideological attack on the Polish school, takes on peculiar importance. “Someday Mom had to come to school called for him to be late sometimes due to these Masses, or due to the fact that they saw him at school saying the rosary. And then Mom came to school and said she didn't see anything incorrect with saying no to a rosary. And this attitude of this wonderful mother, this Holy parent - 1 can say - should be specified a model for us today, for all mothers. What happens in schools, how much it takes for specified mothers and fathers to be active in the spiritual life of their children, to defend their spiritual lessons, to defend their children from this mass, progressive sexualisation that is presently taking place in our schools.”
Finally, a friend of St John Paul II, Adam Bujak, joined the meeting.
After the authoritative ending, the crowds waited with the books in hand for a minute of conversation with the Authors and for a dedication, which will be a sign of this – another – extraordinary patriotic and spiritual meeting.
