On Friday morning, a fire broke out at an arms mill delivered to Israel in the Czech Pardubice. The left-wing organization The Earthquake Faction confessed to the arson.
As a consequence of the fire, the full production hall completely burned down, and the fire besides spread to a close administrative building. No 1 was hurt. Shortly after the Czech incident, police indicated that the fire was due to deliberate arson.
The portal currently.cz reported that an organization called The Earthquake Faction, which is expected to attack the infrastructure related to the Israeli arms manufacture in Europe, was admitted to setting the fire. Pardubice includes the office of LPP Holding, which cooperates with Israel in the production of drones. Martina Tauberova's spokeswoman, however, said to Czech public tv that plants never started specified a production that was planned 2 years ago. According to her, this did not happen due to the resignation of the Czech army from the tender.
Some media pointed out that LPP Holding produces drones for Ukraine, so information on Israel may be smokescreen.
Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babisz convened the National safety Council as a consequence of the incident. The politician called on arms companies to guarantee plant safety. During the meeting, it was decided not to rise the highest level of terrorist alarm.
