South Korea: an authoritative unification but a distant goal

While North Korea broke off its declarations of peaceful unification in January, it demolished the Alliance Bow, and country leader Kim Jong Un announced the dissolution of the institutions working to unite both countries, South Korea has not given up on this. At the Dora observatory in the demilitarized zone, offering a view of the North Korean border, the war video of the 2 states ends with the slogans of the necessity of unification; despite the differences between successive teams ruling the Republic of Korea, the Ministry of Unification continues to operate. In accordance with Article 4 of the Constitution, "the Republic of Korea seeks to unite, formulate and conduct a peace-based unification policy based on the principles of freedom and democracy".
