South Korea Approved Plan to make K9A2 Howitzers

South Korean authorities approved earlier this week a plan to upgrade the K9A1 Thunder native self-propelled howitzer to a newer version - the K9A2. This is done to strengthen the impact capabilities of the device and increase the level of crew safety by automating the loading process. Work related to the above amendments should be completed by 2027.
