Sopot ends partnership with Israeli city of Ashkleon

Soviet councillors adopted a citizen's draft resolution on breaking the partnership with Israeli city of Ashkleon. The explanatory memorandum states that specified a decision is an expression of opposition to the Israeli authorities in the Gaza Strip. "Sopot will not turn a blind eye to Israel's violations of global law," she said during the Thursday session of Alexander Lobod of the Visible Foundation.
