“SOP officers are appalled by Mr Bielan’s message and innuendo,” said the spokesperson Jacek Dobrzyński. "The State Protection Service is simply a professional formation, performing protective actions at the highest level worldwide, frequently with the hazard of life and wellness of its officers. They shall never communicate any information concerning the organisation of protection to unauthorised persons. I treat specified innuendos as a direct attack on the SOP and an effort to undermine the authority, achievements and traditions of this service," added the spokesman,

Let us remind that on Friday – on a wave of criticism and speculation – Simon Holownia himself spoke about the meeting. "The increase and excitement associated with my gathering yesterday is neither justified nor indicated," he wrote on platform X.

"I am 1 of the fewer politicians in Poland, who – I stress – regularly meets with representatives of both deadly quarreling camps. [...] That is why I regularly meet and talk (as today, a very good, 4-hour meeting) with Coalition leaders. Occasionally – besides with opposition" - he explained.

Referring to the controversy around the time of the meeting, Holovnia added, "It's not different that the day of work ends around midnight. Yesterday at 9:30 p.m. I landed in Warsaw after a day filled with marshall duties in Gdańsk and Grudziądz, and this was my only day of 'slot' for gathering and conversation. End of explanation".

"As you can see, maintaining the coalition is difficult, but possible, as is the redevelopment of the government and agreeing a strategy that will let for an offensive after losing in the presidential election.
