Sony WF-C510 is the latest model of truly wireless headphones (TWS) from Sony. fresh headphones combine sound quality with a very affordable price. If you add tiny dimensions of the case and the battery, which provides up to 11 hours of continuous use, then we get a recipe for a device that will surely enjoy success among buyers. Several models of TWS headphones have already passed through my hands (and ears). Among them were models produced by both unknown brands (PaMu Slides) and known (among others. Oppo EncoFree 2, Huawei FreeBuds 4, JBL Tour Pro 2, or Bose athletics Earbuds). I late added the latest model of Sony wireless headphones to this list: Sony WF-C510.
Sony WF-C510 – unboxing and first impressions
From a tiny square box, I took out a case that loaded the size of my thumb. but in the box, there were:
- Silicon ear tips in S, M and L sizes. 1 pair was already applied to headphones, and the another 2 were applied to sticks, made of plastic).
- Documentation.
The charging wire was gone. But that's not an obstacle. The headphones were charged with a USB-C cable, so they were utilized by most electronic devices.
Sony WF-C510 headphones are available in 4 colors: black, yellow, white and blue. This distinguishes the nipponese company from the competition, which usually offers headphones in black.
Sony WF-C510 is simply a typical ear fleas. On the copy I tested, the biggest tips were placed, which fit very well into my ears.
There were:
- two charging contacts and markings L (grey) and R (red),
- control buttons – by pressing them you could reduce or increase the volume, pause playing, or call a Google assistant or Siri.

Sound Connect App
To usage headphones, simply pair them with a mobile device or laptop utilizing Bluetooth. This means complete protection against spraying and water splashing from different directions with a capacity of up to 10 litres per minute.
Another advantage of the headphones was that even after a fewer hours of keeping them in my ears I felt no discomfort.
The headphones could be connected simultaneously to 2 devices (e.g. laptop and smartphone). Switching between both devices was fast and efficient. For example, erstwhile I listened to music on my laptop, and at the same time individual called me, the headphones switched to a smartphone so I could answer the phone. After the conversation was over, I automatically returned to listening to music.
According to the manufacturer, 100% charged headphones can operate for up to 11 hours. This means that I could usage them 8 hours while working (to perceive to music and during video conferencing), and in the afternoon take them to the gym. After night loading (it took about 3 hours), they were ready to usage again in the morning.

For a tiny price (currently only cost PLN 149) offer a lot: anticipation to connect with 2 devices, 360 degrees sound and truly good sound quality. The only drawback is the deficiency of an ANC. In a word, it's a very good offer for individual who needs headphones all day.
