Smolensk Monument Vandalized. Activist Climbed Monument and Threw Paint on It

On the eve of the 15th anniversary of the Smolensk disaster, a controversial protest took place in the center of Warsaw. An activist associated with the Last Generation climate movement climbed the Monument to the Victims of the Smolensk Disaster in Piłsudski Square and threw paint at it. His actions aroused large emotions and reactions from both the services and the public.
