At night, around 24.00 a.m. at the practice area in Załuski close Nidzica, during the night-time adaptation drive, KTO Rosomak was knocked over. As a consequence of the event during the program classes, a soldier of the 16th Mechanized Division was killed. Family support
Command reported that a close to a 25-year-old deceased soldier had received support and the circumstances of the accident would be carefully investigated. The investigation is conducted by the Army Police Department in Elbląg.
The condolences to the household of the fallen soldier were given by Deputy Prime Minister and National Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. He emphasized that relatives of the deceased receive intellectual assistance and are cared for by the military. He besides assured that the substance would be explained in item by the Military Gendarmery.
