Polish traveler Adam Borejko was found dead in a hotel in Russia. The passion for utmost expeditions was during a journey to Yakutia in the Russian Far East. Information about the death of the traveller was provided by the Rescue Service of the Republic of Sacha (Japan) via the Telegram communicator. Borejka's body found service at a hotel in Chandyga, where he stayed. According to the local media, the traveller had not previously complained about wellness problems, illness, or frostbite.

The intent of the Borejsk expedition was the village of Ojmiakon, considered the coldest always inhabited place in the world. The journey from Jakucka to Ojmiakon was expected to be 914 kilometres.
