From Castle Square under the Presidential Palace present (19 August) a manifestation of Prison Service officers passed. Representatives of their unions made an appeal in the Chancellery of the president to reject the Amendment of the Prison Service Act adopted by the Sejm on 5 August. As they argue, its entry into force not only will not solve the troubled problems but will further deepen them. "We hope that the president will only make the right decision and veto the bill," they told the uniforms.
