Life in Słupsk has never been so loudly affirmed – thanks to the loud bell “The Unborn”. The march and the closing Eucharist were presided over by Bishop elder Edward Dajczak.
On May 26, he set out on the streets of Słupska XIV March for Life and Family. The event began at the church of St. Maximilian Kolbe, where Bishop-in-Chief Edward Dajczak blessed the participants and struck the bell “The Voice of the Unborn” whose task is to awaken consciences that constitute the law and all people of good will. The bells sounded on a long, several-mile walk leading to the Church of the Queen of the Holy Rosary in the city centre. Also, anyone could approach and hit the instrument.

Walking with balloons and flags, accompanied by joyful and energetic songs performed by the band led by Mirosław Pawlak. At the request of the organizers, many people wore white or bright clothes. There were no shortages of families with children, scouts, scouts and representatives of pastoral communities – and this unification in a godly matter, including the contribution of the lay people to the organization of the event, emphasized with appreciation at the conclusion of Fr Tomasz Tomaszewski, parish priest, with whom the Polish march took place under the motto “United for Life, Family, Homeland”.
The Mass of the Holy Extinction of the March for Life was presided over by Bishop Dajczak in the Mariacki church.
– Today we tried to manifest the importance, holiness, uniqueness of human life. We one more time realized that the life of a man in his full dimension is about surviving for individual else. no of us are released from work for our brother, for our sister. – said the bishop in the homily.
Among the reasons for the collapse of the ethos of the family, Bishop Dajczak sees a changed social structure in fresh decades, formerly based on a multigenerational household with broad ties: from grandparents to grandchildren. “When we talk about the household of God and about our household in the Church, we gotta exceed the limitations of the modern model of family, which does not correspond to the imagination that God left us,” said the bishop. – utmost individualism makes us lose the ability to be each another to each another and makes us incapable to truly love, to be erstwhile it creates us “you” and relation with him, due to the fact that that is erstwhile we become truly people. present we wanted to find it.

The founders and creators of the bell are the Podkarpacian defenders of life from the “Life Yes” Foundation. The first strike was made by Pope Francis, who blessed him, while stressing that he would accompany pro-life events worldwide.

The “Voice of the Unborn” all day is stationed in the parish of All Saints in Kolbuszowa, Podkarpacie, but it is intended to be present in parishes and to participate in marches organized in defence of life.
