On 1 September, a solemn event took place in Słubice commemorating the Victims of planet War II and highlighting the need obtaining war reparations from Germany. The celebration gathered numerous a group of participants, including representatives of “Gazeta Polska” Clubs from Gorzów Wielkopolski, Sulęcin, Krosna Odrzański and the Defence Movement Borders.
The event was intended not only to pay tribute to the victims of the top armed conflict in human history, but besides to remind about the unaccounted for injuries caused to the Polish nation during the German occupation.
