Slovakia will buy over 100 basic tanks

Currently, the Slovak armored troops usage 2 types of primary tanks, more many T-72M1 and newer Leopards 2A4. For those first in years (as not more than 2 decades) consideration was given to their smaller or larger modernisation. However, according to Defence manufacture Europe, Captain Jakub Murcek, who worked in the modernization department of Slovakia, stated that the subject had already been abandoned. Thus, their time in service will most likely end around 2030 with the arrival of fresh tanks. Both their combat capabilities now and their ability to keep performance are presently low.
