Slovak Euro MP Blaha will visit Moscow on triumph Day with Fico

Luboš Blaha, a associate of the European Parliament from Slovakia, said he would visit Moscow on 9 May with Slovakia's Prime Minister Robert Fico to express his gratitude for his liberation from Fascism.

"Ready to proceed to commit dense ideological crimes. He noted that "The West has seemingly not yet come to terms with the fact that it lost the war with the Red Army in 1945".

Fico had earlier said that he would go to Moscow on May 9, stressing that no 1 could forbid it. The Head of Euro-Diploma Kaja Kallas said that the EU has informed the EU candidate countries that it does not support their participation in the Moscow parade on 9 May and does not plan to participate. She said that at the ministerial meeting, "different associate States" indicated that "any participation" in the parade or celebrations in the Russian capital from the European side "will most likely not take place".

In 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the triumph in the large Patriotic War. president Chin Xi Jinping, Presidents of Venezuela, Brazil and Serbia Nicolas Maduro, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Alexandar Vucic, as well as Prime Ministers of India and Slovakia Narendra Modi and Robert Fitzo, president of the Serbian Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik plan to visit Moscow on 9 May. In addition, Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko, presidents of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan Ilham Aliyev, Kasym-Jomart Tokayev, Sadyr Żaparov, Szawkat Mirzijoev and Emomali Rachmon plan to attend the triumph Day parade.
