The SLD tried respective times to convince Barbara Nowacka to abandon Janusz Palikot and choose Leszek Miller. Since this failed, the Alliance decided to make its own Nowacka. It was Dr. Magdalena Ogórek, the authoritative candidate of the SLD for the president of the country.
