Conversation with Dr. Sławomir Ozdyk, candidate for the Polish Sejm from the letter of the Confederation from the Bydgoszcz district

Why did you decide to run from the Confederacy letter?

– For a long time I have been working with Grzegorz Braun as part of the Confederation of the Polish Crown, and since I am from Nakła nad Notecia, where I went to school was from this territory – as part of Grzegorz Braun's formation of seats – I decided to run.

If you were elected to the parliament, would you be ready to join the coalition?

– I can only talk for myself. I am not in favour of entering – with either side, or with PiS or Platform – into any coalition. I think the Confederacy would end up in this coalition as an appetizer. Secondly, directing the formation towards a mythical ‘measure’ is simply a incorrect and false option. The organization must be defined. Either we are behind Poland or we will represent another options, Brussels or any another option. Our task is to represent the Polish state's right. We can't stand apart. Just look at the German AfD, where during the pandemic there was no unity and it did not have a good effect on their support. They now talk with 1 voice, and it immediately works better on them.

What is the electoral result for the Confederation? Will you be the 3rd force in parliament?

– I'd love to. It depends on the voters. Unfortunately, we are losing by communicative the leadership of the Confederate, which has extinguished the national-patriotic subject for the liberal. The polls show this effect. Speaking Braun is not enough. Imitating him to silence his presence does not aid us either. Although it is my call in the wilderness.

You have late published an account for Ukraine of about PLN 100 billion. If Sławomir Ozdyk had anything to say in the next Polish government, would this account be presented as the position of Poland?

– Yes, from the beginning I said that the unreflective support of Ukraine is harmful. At the UN, Volodymyr Zelenski suggested that all these political formations, which in Poland supported the “wasals of Moscow”. If we impose the fact that the German elite is increasingly Ukraine is visited and supported by immense amounts, it can be concluded that Kiev is changing its patron. He's moving the control towards Berlin. On Twitter, I run a series entitled “Everything Our Ukraine Will Give Up”. As you can see, we already gave back what we were about to give back. Meanwhile, mainstream in Poland inactive believes that Ukraine is fighting for us and we should support it at all costs.

What do you think the Polish policy should be in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict?

Let's be pragmatic. It is not bad for us that Russia is fighting Ukraine. The Germans sent them outdated and imperfect equipment, and Ukraine turns to them anyway. Ukraine inactive allows Russian gas to be transferred and erases billions. Russia, in turn, sells goods to America, and the U.S. authoritative liable says "if we halt buying, it would be bad for the US." Western countries are beginning quite a few representations in Turkey. 1 of the post-missile republics became the world's largest mobile telephone buyer. Serious states do business in this war, and we just give everything back.

Should Poland stay a associate of the EU, NATO and another global organisations?

– Alliances are always good, provided they're supported by what we have in place. Let's not number on alliances. If we were invaded now, no 1 would aid us. As part of the mythical Article 5, Germany can send us blankets and body bags. The European Union? Yes, but in this form? Chancellor Scholz seeks to unify the European Union; Commissioners are to decide on taxes or the army. Just look at the grain. Turkish-born German minister calls on the Polish ambassador to the rug for not submitting to the EC decision. Why don't we go back to the EU? To the thought of a “Union of nations”? In a minute we will wake up in "fifteen-minute cities" where we will eat steaks of worms, due to the fact that there is nothing else we can do. Why do we not say that we will be in the EU as long as this EU is good for us? Why does the Warsaw Government sign everything they lay? And so with military alliances: yes, but provided we have a strong army and peculiar services. In the meantime, we have a weapon moving around who wants to.
