In Karol Nawrocki's law firm, criticism of his decision to suspend aid to Ukraine and Ukrainians echoed. The President's spokesperson was peculiarly outraged at Mirosław Skórka, the head of the Ukrainian Union in Poland.

Nawrocki's veto on the aid bill for Ukraine has caused considerable repercussions. The president explained that he did not want the non-working Ukrainians to receive 800+ and so the bill will not be signed.

The skin wasn't wrapped in cotton

But although he saw specified a item throughout the paper (less than 300 000 children from over 6.4 million to whom ZUS pays the benefit), he did not announcement that the consequences of the rejection of the bill would be highly serious. It is about, for example, stopping sponsoring the website of the Ukrainian satellite net or difficulties in legalization of the stay, which in turn will hit the Polish economy.

Nawrocki's decision was harshly criticized on TVP Mirosław Skórka. He stated that the President's veto is "de facto the implementation of Kremlin policy, not Poland". He added that the individual pursuing Russian goals in Poland cannot be called a Polish patriot. He besides said that in Ukraine our country is now seen as not trustworthy.

– This is simply a bad possible for Poland's participation in the safety warrant strategy in our region. This is the destructive action of the president and his environment," said the head of the ZUwP.

The President's Office reacted rather nervously to these words. Rałał Leśkiewicz, a spokesperson for Karol Nawrocki, felt the plaque.

"Since yesterday, Mr Mirosław Skórka, president of the Ukrainian Union in Poland, has been appearing in the media, impertinently manipulating and insulting the president of Poland Karol Nawrocki. He speaks of the President's nationalist attitude and his writing of decisions in Kremlin politics" – he wrote on X.

He did not neglect to remind that Nawrocki, as the president of the IPN "was listed by the Russian Federation authorities on the list of persons prosecuted by the Putin government for the removal of russian propaganda objects".

He besides added that the nationalist tendencies in Ukraine have long been strong, that Ukrainians surviving in Ukraine besides have them. And he reminded me of the Volyn murder.

"Today these criminals are treated in Ukraine as heroes, while the remains of our murdered compatriots lie in nameless pits of death," he wrote.

Finally, he accused the Ukrainians of deficiency of gratitude.

"These words are an expression of individual phobias and prejudices that harm Polish-Ukrainian relations. This is besides evidence of a complete deficiency of gratitude for the Polish assistance given after the Russian Federation's aggression on Ukraine in 2022.".
