The IPN powerfully criticized Jad Ościm's entry, considering that specified a serious institution should not ignore the fact that anti-Jewish regulations on Polish lands were introduced by Germany.
The reaction appeared after the publication of Jad Yours on platform X, where Jews were reminded of the command to wear a band with Star David from 23 November 1939 – without clear indication that Poland was under business at the time. “Poland was the first country where Jews were forced to wear a distinctive badge to isolate them from the surrounding population,” wrote the institution.
“The deficiency of cognition of German regulations imposed on Polish society enslaved by the German Reich (including Jews) or ignoring them would not be appropriate for institutions specified as the Yad Vashem Institute,” he stressed on platform X.

Marcin Przycz from the Office of Politics of the global Chancellery of the President, head of the Ministry of abroad Affairs Radosław Sikorski and government spokesperson Adam Szpiek responded to the entry of Jad Ościm. It was noted that it was not Poland, but the administration of the 3rd Reich that imposed and enforced these regulations. The Auschwitz Museum besides assessed the entry of Jad Yours as misleading.
