Is the Deputy Prime Minister, and now Tomasz Siemoniak, a complete ignorance of the past of the Polish Army?
Or in a cynical and calculated way, does he carry out a plan to get Poland into armed action in the East without looking at the historical experience or the dignity of the Polish uniform?
Anyway, by issuing a decision to train the battalion commanders called the OUN, he struck Polish military traditions and insulted the memory of those murdered by the OUN and UPA. In specified circumstances, if he is simply a man of honor, he should resign.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Tomasz Siemoniak issued a decision to train the commanders of Ukrainian volunteer troops, including battalions, for the Polish taxpayer's money “Azov” and “Ajdar”, dominated by banders, and a battalion named the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists. General Mieczysław Gocuł, Head of the General Staff of the Polish Army, informed about this at a press conference. This is an incredible scandal due to the fact that CNS was a terrorist organization that attacked the structures of the Polish state during the interwar period. Its members, especially from a faction led by Stepan Bandera, have committed many crimes, including the assassination of the Home Secretary Bronisław Pieracki and Member of Tadeusz Holówka.
Incidentally, both murdered were volleys and supporters of a settlement with Ukrainians. The Banderists besides killed many honest Ukrainians, including Ivan Babija, manager of Ukrainian junior advanced school in Lviv and head of Catholic Action, in the critical assassinations. In turn, in September 1939, working closely with the German interview Abwehra, they performed the function of V Columns, organizing and conducting diversions in the rears of the fighting Polish division. As part of this diversion, they frequently shot back back-to-back soldiers retreating to Romania and Hungary. They killed civilians.
An example is the demolition of defenceless residents of the settlement Kolodne k. Monasterwoj, including women and children, which took place on the night of 18 to 19 September. In the following years, on the basis of the OUN structures, the Ukrainian Pows Dance Army was established, which committed genocide on Poles, Jews on Armenians and Polish citizens of another nationalities.
