Piotr Żyła finished the Sunday planet Cup struggles at the mammoth in Bad Mitterndorf at number 10. At the Kulm jump again he had no equal to Domen Prevc – he won for the sixth time in a row and even more rebounded rivals in the general classification. The podium was supplemented by Stephan Embacher and Johann Andre Forfang.
After the first series The Live was sixth – he gave the jump at a distance of 222 m. However, the speech of rivalry was given by Prevc, who, despite a short run, flew 238 m and built a clear advantage. In the final, Slovene confirmed dominance by jumping 245.5 m.
She was surviving in the second effort to gain 211.5 m, but after landing she did not cover the situation. “It was great, I'm happy with the jumps themselves. On the another hand, erstwhile it comes to errors, they... unfortunately were," the jumper admitted.
The another Poles did not advance to the final: Kamil Stoch was 33rd, Dawid Kubacki 37th, and Paweł Wąsek 39th. In Austria, among others, there was no Kacpra Tomasiak, who is preparing for the start in the junior championship in Lillehammer.
