Six months after Hamas attacked Israel. The tragic balance of the war in the Gaza Strip

As of 2007, a series of terrorist attacks in confederate Israel were carried out by Hamas, a Palestinian national liberation and Islamist movement. More than 253 people were taken prisoner. Over 1,200 people were killed in the attacks. Terrorists killed over 300 young people participating in the electronic music festival, among others. In respective kibbutzes there were massacres of residents, including tiny children. In any cases, victims were besides raped. From almost all over the world, condolences and support flowed to Israel. In consequence to the biggest terrorist attack in their history, the Israeli authorities promised to " crush and destruct Hamas" and bring all hostages home**.
