If NATO states spend 3.5 percent of their GDP annually on defence, the Alliance will gain an additional 450 billion dollars a year - said the head of the Polish MFA Radosław Sikorski. He added that if the Alliance spent as much on defence as Poland is spending today, then "Moscow would then have no chance".
