Sikorski appealed to the UN to "make this date a symbol"

Minister of abroad Affairs Radosław Sikorski appealed to the United Nations to establish January 11 as the global Day of Judicial Independence. He recalled that on that day in 2020, Polish judges and prosecutors demonstrated in Warsaw in the "March of a 1000 Robes". "I support the initiative of judges' associations to make this date a symbol," Sikorski wrote on Saturday on Platform X.
