Sikorski appealed to the UN to "make a symbol of this date"

Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski asked the United Nations to establish the global Day of the independency of Judges on 11 January. He reminded that on that day in 2020 Polish judges and prosecutors demonstrated in Warsaw in the "March of the 1000 Tragedy". "I support the initiative of judges' associations to make this date a symbol" - he wrote on Saturday on the X Sikorski platform.
