During his exposé, Radosław Sikorski criticized law and justice politicians. "Opposition politicians mislead the public, explaining why in the European Parliament they voted against the resolution, which is not binding, on European defence," said the head of the MFA.

– Jarosław Kaczyński, again absent, claims that it is simply a donation of Polish money to Berlin for the reinforcements and control of the Polish army. Mateusz Morawiecki says he will not allow, quote "for tampering with our relations with NATO". And others are threatening that fresh regulations can "eliminate erstwhile it comes to defence, the rule of unanimity" - he calculated the votes of opposition politicians.
– Gentlemen and ladies, why scare the nation? The resolution does not mention the transfer of command over the Polish army or defence budget. Secondly, its provisions aim to improve and increase the cost-effectiveness of the procurement of military equipment for the associate States' army. This is about the economies of scale – buying together, we can buy more and cheaper – he added.
