Should Donald Tusk resign as Prime Minister by resigning? The opinions of Poles on this issue are divided almost equally. According to United Surveys for Virtual Poland, 41.5 percent of respondents expressed the opinion that the Prime Minister should leave. On the contrary, fewer less respondents think – 41.2 percent. There are 17.3% of respondents on this issue.
The results of the United Surveys poll for Virtual Poland clearly show that Poles do not agree whether Donald Tusk should stay behind the government. Which will not be a surprise – the assessments on this issue coincide almost with organization lines. 41.5% of respondents believe that the head of government should resign. These are the most electoral opposition parties – Confederation and Law and Justice. 75 percent of them would like Tusk to resign, 21 percent to leave him in office. 4% of Confederate and PiS voters have no opinion on this issue.
Of the 41.2% of those surveyed who want Tusk to proceed to lead the government, the majority are voters of the ruling coalition groups, although the prime minister's most faithful supporters frequently vote for his home party. As many as 75 percent of citizens' coalition voters want the current Prime Minister to stay at the head of the cabinet. 14 percent of those voting for the KO believe that Tusk should resign, and 11 percent did not respond explicitly to the question of the poller.
Nearly 3 equal groups divided the another political parties' elections. 35 percent want Tusk to leave, 28 percent say the opposite, and 37 percent do not know or have no opinion on this.
After winning by Karol Nawrocki – the protege of Law and Justice – in the presidential election, the de facto defeat of the ruling camp, which was represented in the second circular by Rafał Trzaskowski, is ongoing reconstruction of Donald Tusk's government. The fresh division of power is expected to take place in the next weeks.
The United Surveys survey was conducted for Virtual Poland on 27-29 June 2025. The survey was carried out by CATI (phone interviews) and CAWI (online interviews) on a typical example of 1,000 people.
