Hundred SmartEye systems for Croatia

Croatia has received further automatic traffic surveillance systems of WB Groups. PolCam Systems solutions are utilized by Croatian police and have been integrated into the central management and mandate system. In November Hrvatska police received the last SmartEye ST-1 organization this year, supporting road transport safety.

Croatian services received in 2025 close to a 100 advanced SmartEye ST-1 photo-radars along with additional equipment. The equipment was developed by PolCam Systems, which is the competence centre of the WB Group in the field of road safety systems.

PolCam Systems won a tender for deliveries to Croatia in 2019And the first 50 photo-radars on 3 legs. Since then, Polish solutions have been gradually supporting Croatian police. In 2023, Groupy WB signed a framework agreement to deliver more than 150 further road safety devices.

In November the transportation of another batch of stationary systems will end SmartEye ST-1 and peculiar cabinet enclosures. All devices have been integrated into the Croatian central management and mandate system. Its maintenance, method support and service is besides liable for the Polish entity GROUPS WB.

SmartEye ST-1 photoradiators have proven their effectiveness in protecting road users. Good operational results and partnership with Croatian police translated into the planned modernization of 50 sets delivered in 2019, extending their functionality to the current standard.

SmartEye ST-1 is an advanced device for recording traffic offences specified as speeding and moving on red light. Generates evidence in Full HD quality, ensuring advanced performance under different environmental conditions.

The strategy complies with European standards: supports external IP cameras, integrates with databases and allows fast adaptation to local procedures. The Croatian police version was additionally equipped with video cameras recording the image 24/7. At each road event, the strategy automatically includes a short film, supplementing the evidence.

SmartEye solutions very accurately admit licence plates, besides identify the brand, model, colour and kind of vehicle. High-resolution camera recording allows you to detect unattached seat belts or usage your telephone while driving.
