About Serbia's acquisition of BTR-80A vehicles from Hungary [I wrote in mid-February](https://defence24.pl/power-arms/vegry-sale-your-transportery-to-serbia) erstwhile it was said to acquisition only 26 utilized copies. Now, however, Belsat is writing about delivering a full of 50 pieces to the Serbos in June, and another 16 will be delivered by the end of July. Hungary has thus disposed of nearly half of its BTR-80A/AM fleet, which has so far been estimated to be around 120 units. This decision is dictated, among another things, by the gradual adaptation of the Hungarian army to the much modern German combat infantry wagons KF41 Lynx, which have been purchased until now **218 pieces** of which the wagons in the said variant will most likely be over 100. Recovered funds may, for example, let for the acquisition of further Rysi or cover part of the fees related to those already ordered. The vehicles collected from Hungary were transported to the 72nd peculiar Brigade in Pančevo after reaching Serbia. By the end of the year, 30 out of 66 vehicles are planned to be renovated (certain others will be undergoing specified a process in the next calendar period).
