Bogdan Klich has been a senator since 2011. He was previously a associate (from 2001 to 20040) and besides a Euro MP (2004-2007). From 2007 to 2011, he was Minister of National Defence in Donald Tusk's government, Deputy Minister of Defence was in Jerzy Buzek's government (from 1999 to 2000). He co-founded the global Centre for the improvement of Democracy in Krakow, which became the Institute of strategical Studies (he was its manager from 1997 to 2007).
