On behalf of the justice at rest, Ms Lucyna Łaciak and Mr Jarosław Dąbrowski are cordially invited to the seminar entitled "The impact of changes in the modern planet on the standards of law and the work of lawyers".
The guest will be Paul Newby – American lawyer, judge. As of 1 January 2021 serving as Chief president of the ultimate Court of North Carolina, the highest instance of the judiciary in this state of the United States. Prior to 2004, he served as a justice in the same court.
In addition, he held the position of Deputy national Prosecutor for the East territory of North Carolina for 19 years. Paul Newby is besides a law lecturer at Campbell University School of Law.
