Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of the magazine "The Atlantic", revealed on Monday that it was accidentally added to a confidential conversation on the Signal communicator on American military operations in Yemen. The discussion was attended by Vice president J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of defence Pete Hegseth and manager of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbar. Goldberg has been following the calls since 11 March, and the impact occurred on 15 March.

The United States is fighting the Huti in Yemen due to the fact that Iran-supported rebels are attacking merchant ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, a major threat to global trade and freedom of navigation. Since March 15, the attack has led to the demolition of key targets specified as rocket systems, drones and Huti communication nodes.
