Change, change, change... The fresh Marshal of the Sejm, who turned out to be a real star in the eyes of any observers, the fresh majority of the parliament, easy approving subsequent laws, a fresh reality for the politicians (yet) of the United Right, yet 2 new-old prime ministers and a government of the new-old coalition that will go into past under the name of "Coalition 15 October". We live in a fascinating political reality that may change the unrecognized scenery of our country.
The interest in politics beats the records in Poland. Of course, the highest and most crucial manifestation of this was the evidence attendance of citizens in the 15 October elections. However, the desire to participate in the political debate was not a one-off one. Within little than 2 months of the end of the PiS rule, netizens followed the session of the Sejm live. The apogee of this trend came on 11 December, in which as many as 250,000 people watched the broadcast on the authoritative channel of the Polish Sejm. A canal that has exceeded the number of subscribers that many more populous states specified as Germany, the United Kingdom and Italy can boast. The channel of the lower chamber of the Polish Parliament subscribes to over half a million recipients, meaning that it is entitled to receive the alleged silver button, i.e. a prize awarded to those creators whose channel is observed by over 100,000 recipients. The Sejm formally requested the award, as confirmed by Marshal Simon Holovnia. The Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk referred to the increasing interest in politics during his exposé, quoting data, indicating almost twice the increase in the percent of citizens surveyed who feel that they "have an impact on politics". Many thanks to Simon Holown, whose kind of conducting the meeting, combined with cultural and superb reposts towards the disillusioned MPs, met with the sympathy of many citizens. This is confirmed by the latest ranking of political trust, led by the leader of Poland2050.
On 11 December Poles observed the public humiliation of Prime Minister Morawiecki. His failed, "expert" and "feminized" government supported 190 MPs and the mythical majority of the PiS one more time proved to be what it has always been — I think they're on springs only to improve the well-being of the defeated politicians of the United Right. Despite the apparent failure, we hear the same statements over and over again from the politicians of the Law and Justice organization about winning the elections on October 15 and supporting 8 million citizens. No self-expression, no honesty. The authorship was small in the exposé of the “two-week” Prime Minister Morawiecki, who generously apologized for the 2 alternatively insignificant mistakes he made in his erstwhile term. This courageous self-criticism, did not convince anyone, thus proved as effective as intensive discussions with representatives of PSL, Confederacy and Poland2050, which the Prime Minister allegedly led...
Donald Tusk's Exposé of December 12 lasted more than 2 hours, with a dimension of only a speech of the same politician from 2007, erstwhile it first included the office of the Prime Minister of the Council of Ministers. Tusk, on the 1 hand, struck a solidarity speech and avoided antagonizing opponents, urged tolerance and knowing towards PiS voters. At the same time, it sparked a stormy reaction from the politicians of this party, quoting the "manifest of the grey man". According to PiS politicians, utilizing a suicide letter was unworthy and was disregarding the majesty of death.
What next to the “United Right”?
During the most crucial session of the Sejm, which we could observe in December, we could see a large absentee. It was erstwhile Minister of Justice and lawyer General, Zbigniew Ziobro. The absence of the key coalition president Kaczyński immediately drew the attention of commentators. Does the coalition of the United Right shake jobs? Unpleasant comments for Kaczyński besides flow from the Presidential Palace. President's Chief of Cabinet Marcin Mastalerek, said in an interview with RMF FM writer that "surviving the PiS would depend on the presidential election". He besides stressed that in his opinion, the origin that led to the party's defeat was... pride.
I think he's right. Pride and any kind of madness sounded in the words of Mr Kaczyński, who (again) gave himself the right to talk out of the seismic grandstand outside any mode and challenge (again) political opponents, accusing them of delusional affiliations and intentions. I don't think their political failure has reached the members of the Law and Justice Party. The local government and European elections are moving forward, but PiS politicians are inactive stuck in the fumes of the missed tactics of the campaign. Fearing Germany, feeling at Donald Tusk, absurd lies about migration and alleged threat to the Polish state's right, all of this failed and should be forgotten by efficient political tactics. At this moment, the Law and Justice organization cannot decision within a democratic and pluralistic political system, in which the standard is the coexistence of different actors, views and interests. The organization of president Kaczyński needs urgent reconstruction if he wants any chance of regaining even part of the lost power.
