The parliament tried to stand up to the president. A chain bill was decided

The Sejm failed to reject the presidential veto against the alleged chain bill. The amendment of the Animal Protection Act, vetoed in early December by president Karol Nawrocki, did not get the required majority of 3/5 votes. At the same time, a presidential draft of a fresh regulation on this substance was sent to the Chancellery of the Sejm.
