No alcohol sales in the Sejm. It's the Black One's decision.
Last Wednesday Włodzimierz Czarzasty said that from Monday (24 November) there would be a ban on the sale of alcoholic beverages in the Sejm building.
"It is hard to inform the public of the request to ban selling at gas stations and to ban selling alcohol at night, without setting an example from the Sejm, i.e. people who will pass specified a law," said the recently appointed talker of the Sejm, signing the order in front of journalists.
Virtual Poland learned from the data provided to it by the Chancellery of the Sejm that last year the gross value of alcohol sold in the Sejm amounted to as much as PLN 218 892,96.
Włodzimierz Czarzasty's decision was met with a rather affirmative assessment of, among others, the president of Law and Justice, Jarosław Kaczyński.
"I would like to make this decision, which in the case of this gentleman is indeed surprising, but he agreed that indeed alcohol in the Sejm is simply a very bad thing. Just remember that it is simply a danger that he will return, among others, tonic without a cap," said the opposition politician, answering a question asked him by Michał Wróblewski of WP.
The order of the talker of the Sejm met with another reaction from Mark Jakubiak of the Free Republicans. Is this a place for peculiar people or what? For example, we will arrange for an appointment at 20 o'clock to talk about something, what, at the compote we will now sit? – said the MP in an interview with RMF FM.
