Scania's fresh test track. Swedish innovations besides go to the Polish Army

The planet of transport is undergoing its most dynamic transformation since the replacement of horse-drawn carriages with interior combustion engines. Environmental requirements, the improvement of autonomy and the increasing importance of safety – both civilian and military – pose challenges for commercial vehicle manufacturers that require a completely fresh approach to technology plan and testing. Scania and the Traton Group are responding to these challenges with a state-of-the-art R&D centre in Sweden, whose impact resonates far beyond Scandinavia, reaching straight into the Polish defence and transport industry.
