ICEYE satellites for the Polish army successfully separated from the rocket

Two ICEYE radar satellites designed for the Armed Forces of Poland were carried into space on Monday in SpaceX Transporter-16 mission.

Separation confirmed, time for first action in orbit - stated ICEYE.

"Today is an crucial day for the Polish Army, another strengthening of the Polish reconnaissance capabilities" - wrote on the platform X Sztab General WP.

The mission took off from Vandenberg Space Base in California. The Falcon 9 rocket took 119 cargo on board, including 2 satellites from the Polish-Finnish company ICEYE, supplied to the Polish military under the MicroSAR programme.
