An experienced comic book maker will visit Poznań in June 2025.Sara started her career in animation, but she rapidly discovered that drawing comic books was her actual passion. She made her debut in the comic book manufacture in the Italian Cut-Up release, creating her first comic book Sesso col col coltello.
The next step was to work with IDW Comics, where she illustrated series specified as Star Trek. In 2008, after winning a planet art competition organized by Marvel Comics, she started working for this release.
At Marvel, Sara worked on many popular series including NYX, X-Men, Namora, Runaways is Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man vol. 2Where she became the lead artist.
The awards she won in her career are impressive...
She won the Eagle Award and Harvey Award in 2011 and twice the Stan Lee Awards. In 2014, she was among the fresh Marvel Young Guns – a program distinguishing the best emerging artists in the comics industry.
Sarah’s next comic book work
After 2014, Sara worked on refreshing Galactic Guardians and All-New X-Men. She besides created the first chapter of the peculiar communicative of the Spider-Man, and in 2017 she returned to work on this character, drawing the second chapter.
Shortly after, she worked with Dan Slott to renew the series Fantastic Four, and together with J.J. and Henry Abrams, she created a fresh Spider-Man mini-series.
In 2023 she began working on a solo series Scarlet Witchwho immediately became very popular.
