CASA aircraft for modernization

It is about 16 aircraft that were selected in 2001 and were delivered from August 2003. Initially, 8 aircraft were purchased with an option for another four. The first 8 was delivered by the end of 2005. The option for 2 more machines was utilized in 2006 and another 2 in 2007. 1 aircraft crashed in 2008 at the base in Mirosławec. In the beginning of the second decade of the 21st century, however, 5 more aircraft were purchased, which increased the state of possession of the 13th Transport Aviation Squadron to 16 machines.
