The Gostyński cinema “Under the Dome” on Tuesday turned into a courtroom. All due to the fact that the local territory Court would not be able to accommodate so many defendants.
In the process of the alleged dairy scandal, almost 80 people sat on the bench: farmers, tankers and labers. It is simply a systemic fraud erstwhile supplying milk to the Dairy Cooperative in Gostyń: adding water, lowering the amount of natural material taken and assigning surplus to another suppliers. The procedure was conducted in Buknica and Gostyń between 2015 and 2019, extorting property worth tens of thousands of zlotys. The mechanics of action was to process valves in tanks – the alleged ‘valve’ or ‘bypass’ method.
Most defendants don't plead guilty. any respond free-footed, any usage police supervision, property guarantees, and seizure of property for future penalties. They are facing up to 12 years in prison.
