The draft amendment of the Media Act concerns, among others, the improvement of the National Broadcasting Council and the reorganisation of public broadcasting companies. There is no uncertainty that the subscription fee in force in Poland should be abolished. 1 of the main arguments is that it is hard to enforce and cannot so be regarded as an effective origin of public media funding.
