Rutte: NATO will strengthen the defence of the east flank

Mark Rutte confirmed that the NATO forces utilized Polish F-16 aircraft, Dutch F-35 aircraft, Italian AWACS aircraft and German Patriot systems in connection with today's incident. The North Atlantic Council was besides convened in the morning, where the Polish proposal for consultations under Article 4 of the Washington Treaty was discussed. The allies were to express solidarity with Poland and besides condemn Russian behaviour.
