Under its power, a joint venture will be created in Poland to manufacture modular loads and three-base propellants for 155 mm artillery ammunition.
Adam Leszkiewicz, president of the PGZ, stressed that our national holding company wanted to cooperate with a French entity due to the fact that it has knowledge, technology and experience that our ammunition companies lack. “Thanks to cooperation with Eurenco, in the field of propelling charges, the transfer to our country of advanced technologies concerning advanced energy materials will take place, so that we will build national production sovereignty in their field”, said Leszkiewicz.

The company is besides expected to start producing propelling charges in a flash. – The agreement provides that the company will erect the essential halls and equip them with machinery and training of employees in just 13 months – explains Grabowski.
The mill is to be built in the areas belonging to Mesko S.A. in Pionki and is to produce about 600,000 loads per year. As president Leszkiewicz adds, the plant will produce for the needs of both the PGZ and French Eurenco and the countries to which this entity provides artillery ammunition.
