Are you fascinated with science? Do you have a head full of ideas for interesting lectures? Do you want to share with the Pyrkonoviches your quirk with science? Fantastic! For the 5th time, the Pyrcona discipline region competition is running! It is an amazing chance to join the speakers of the discipline region and show the planet that discipline can be addictive!

The ocean of discipline is wide and deep!

I mean... it's not like your talk should be about the oceans and their depths, though – if you know about it and want to share it with the Pyrkonoviches – go ahead! erstwhile editions of the competition have shown us that the spectrum of interests of our participants is huge, so – who knows? – possibly this year it is You're going to turn curiosity into a full fresh issue?

However, whether you want to talk about the cosmos and its boundaries, black holes, supernovas and distant nebulas, or whether the subject of your speech is to be oceanic turbidity... it is worth remembering that your speech should intrigue and engage! Competition applications can be sent to 21.09.2025 of the year, until 23:59:59. This should be done by means of a form specially prepared for this purpose, which takes into account specified information as: Your data, title and description of the lectures, as well as your experience in akin occurrences, and whether the point of the program you have previously reported has been presented.

Important dates and...

If you want to participate in the “Pyrkon discipline Zone” contest, you must definitely save the following dates in your calendar so that you do not miss any of the qualifying stages for the contest! More method information (such as precise parameters and video guidelines) can be found in the Regulation!

REGULATION OF THE COMPETITION

Remember that ignorance of the rules does not exempt you from the work to comply with it and comply with its guidelines. Sending a study after the deadline or adding the incorrect format of the movie will not origin us to face any global disaster that only Superman can save us from. However, this will consequence in your study not being taken into account, so... why sabotage yourself so badly?

Now it's time for dates!

• 01.09.2025 – launch of the “Pyrkon discipline Zone” competition;
• 21.09.2025 – the last day of sending applications to the competition (you have until 23:59:59!);
• 27.09.2025 – by that date at the latest, selected fortunate people will find the applicable information on their email boxes;
• 06.10.2025 – by that date, the participants selected for the second phase are required to evidence a short video and send it;
• 09.10.2025 – until this day, all submitted videos will be made available on our website and on our social media, so that all Pyrconists can read them and vote for their favorites in the survey;
• 16.10.2025 – on that day (exactly at 23:59:59), the anticipation of voting for lectures will end;
• 23.10.2025 – the final date of the announcement of the winner of the “Pyrconium discipline Zone” contest;
• 20.06.2026 – on that day, during Pyrkon 2026, the winner will give his lecture!
